Did Grandma Just KILL You With Those Braids?
I was laughing so hard today listening to StoryCorps. The conversation between Cherie Johnson and James Ransom about their Sunday School teacher--who also braided hair--had me in stitches.
I remember when I was a kid the next door neighbor or my Grandma would do my hair. It was one of those sets of braids that was supposed to last for most of the summer... the kind that raised bumps in your kitchen. Still gives me the shivers.
Anyway, who did your hair.... and how? And... are you tenderheaded?
