Census Shows Minorities Often the Majority

I am an avid NPR listener and I listen to news and notes almost every day. Today i was shocked to hear your guests talk about black women who marry outside their race as "traitors". Here i must disclose that i am a white woman in my early twenties. ( From the attitude of some of your guests i am afraid that that might disqualify me from having a valid opinion in this conversation) However I will continue... I have many black friends who are young, old, urban, rural, gay, strait, and yes, married to people outside their race.

To say that you have any interest in a free and equal society and then say that your women are traitors if they marry outside their race is ignorant at best and down right racist at worst. I suppose i understand trying to honor and preserve your heritage, but to say such a thing as that about woman who make the choice to marry a white man is the exact same thing as trying to preserve the aryan race... ignorant at best...
I am afraid such arrogant guests do not do justice to the show's goal of racial equality.
