The Associated Press: Obama Presidency a 'Stretch' for Voters -- "Barack Obama knows it's a stretch to think of him as president. Just 46 years old and three years out of the Illinois legislature, the freshman senator also understands that the clock is ticking on his chance to surmount that 'certain threshold' and convince voters he's ready for the White House."

Obama has a long road in convincing the electorate of his preparedness. I saw that fact in the first question on the Iowa Democratic debate on Sunday. Gosh, Obama was great in using humor to diffuse the attack from the others about his experience or the lack thereof.

However, I have to say there is a point to what the other candidates claim. As much as I love Obama's message of change, I still find myself asking "is he prepared?" I'm still waiting for him to knock the ball out of the park with some questions at these debates. And sometimes he appears green on these campaign trails.

I couldn't believe what I read last week when he made a gaffe about the price of Arugula at WholeFoods to farmers in Iowa. Hmm, there is no WholeFoods store in Iowa. Whoever Obama's campaign manager is should really do some research first. Also, I think there's still time before the primaries for Obama and his strategists to show the electorate a different perspective.
