What Was Your Favorite 'N&N' Story of 2007?

Based on input from our producers and you [judging by online performance], we've assembled a list of our best and most memorable reporting and interviews from the previous year.

What was your favorite?

Maybe it was our interview with literary great Chinua Achebe, or the Q&A with two of The Family Stone's original members. Our reporting on the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Division? Or Farai's interview with Russell Simmons ... when the conversation turned volatile? ["Did they tell you why I came here?"]

Take a look at our "Best Of" list and weigh in.

For me, it was definitely the Russell Simmons interview. I was rolling my eyes listening to him talking from two sides of his mouth about the state of hip-hop. Then, he was preaching his yoga spirituality and promoting some sort of calming beads only to bust out at Farai for asking penetrating questions. Wow! I wished at that moment I had a camera . . . that was classic.

I also enjoyed the interview with Jonathan Butler but the Chinua Achebe's interview has got to take the cake.
Happy Holidays!

My favorite show was your interview with Calvin Baker about his novel "Dominion," which I liked very much. I would like to suggest that you interview Michael Thomas, whose novel "Man Gone Down" is one of the finest of recent years.
