Open Thread: Super Tuesday

One poll shows a major surge for Obama in Calif. If he wins, does that mean he has the nomination? It would seem tough for Hillary to overcome that. And as for my polling place, it seemed some of the volunteers needed weren't totally sure of what they were doing. I could totally see how there are discrepancies in the final vote count due to human error.

I'll take any Dem.but I really like Oboma and his message of Hope. I just hope the Democrats will not tear each other up to the point where they can't get elected in November

I'm very optimistic that Sen. Obama will take the Dem. nomination. Although I am a woman, Sen. Clinton is just too much of a "same old politician" for me. I especially give my vote to Obama because in the eyes of the world he will bring a new and much-needed image of the United States to those countries that are very disenchanted and wary of us. I also believe that, though racial differences must not continue to be an issue, having an African American president will help heal the long time prejudices and division of the American people. Sen. Obama is a great speaker and will be a great and inspiring leader.

I just finished listening to your discussion about Super Tuesday with Mary Frances Berry and the gentleman worked for the Bush Administration and it was quite disappointing to hear Ms Berry transparently set Hillary Clinton up as an overachiever in this race. Time after time that i have heard her talk about the race she shows her bias for Hillary and Bill Clinton. What makes it worst is that in order to make the case for Clinton people have to disparage Obama. Getting to view people through the prism of their political views is an eye opening experience. I would love to see her go back to being a more astute and objective commentator instead of a thinly veiled supporter of Hillary Clinton.
