Hillary + Barack = ???

Hillary and Barack

Hillary + Barack = Hillarack.

Nancy Burson, The New Republic

Check out this photo, as featured on the cover of The New Republic.

Clinton and Obama have had heir mugs splashed across the covers of mags like Time and Newsweek. But artist Nancy Burson has taken it a step further. (She's the brains behind The Human Race Machine and the morphing technology in Michael Jackson's "Black or White" video.)

She's used the technology to create a composite image of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. You can check out a larger version on The New Republic blog.

So ... what do you think? Oh, and here's yet another photo mash-up.

Barack in this, as in the campaign, seems to be the dominant figure. I see little recognizable about Hillary here, but recognize Barack in an instant. As someone else has said, perhaps it is that the artist chose Baracks eyes, which are the most expressive part of the face.

Nancy Burson is good with photo morphing, but really folks, what's the point here? There's already enough nonsensical reporting and "journalism" in circulation that does little to elevate the intelligence level of the masses.

this image is interesting given that in some theory, the argument is made that black men are feminized to a great extent and that women like hillary clinton i.e. high achievers have characteristics that men are thought to have the monopoly over like aggression, bossiness, etc.
