On YouTube: Hillary Clinton, Sinbad and Snipers

Forget the endorsements and all-powerful superdelegates. The Democratic presidential nominee may well be influenced by ... YouTube of all things. First, YouTube clips of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's incendiary sermons almost derailed Sen. Barack Obama's campaign.

Now, a CBS News report -- contradicting Sen. Hillary Clinton's recollection of her 1996 trip to Bosnia -- is getting major traction on the site today.

Clinton said she "misspoke" when saying she landed in Bosnia under sniper fire.

In the end, more people may see this report on the Web than viewed it when it originally aired on television. What do you think about this report ... and of the Web's influence in the political process?

Misremembered?-Misspoke?-When-I-was-little-it-was-just-called-A-LIE.-

Why do we have to waste valuable time on bullsh*t issues like this?
As First Lady of the US for 8 years, it is without doubt one of the best experiences anyone could possibly receive in her life.

Just because Obama is being a "donkey" over this issue - Hillary is pressured to prove something most idiots would readily acknowledge.

Just use common sense - what type of work or hobbies would Hillary Clinton have had as First Lady? The closest First Lady to Hillary is Eleanor Roosevelt. Any other questions?

Too bad Obama can't match this experience, but he CAN'T. So there.

This "gotcha" mentality on the part of Obama, his campaign staff, and the media is stupid . . . it just shows he has poor "judgment." It also shows a disrespectful character trait by Obama about accomplished women.

"Misspoke," "Misstatement" terms are for spur-of-the-moment slip of the tongue. If you make the same statements (Bosnia statements) on a few occasions, that is called embellishment - a more dignified term for calling it a LIE.

Also, in this age of the Web, videos, political candidates cannot afford such major slip ups. That's what they pay their advisers and key staff members for; "fact check." You know the Media, for the most part will look it up and voters will question their credibility afterwards.

How can people support this person after all the lies she's been caught in? Don't be fooled when she said she doesn't remember correctly. It was premeditated and calculated to deceive the American people.

miss spoke ??? duh..how can anyone miss speak about being shot at...it just shows how desperate she is to win the elections and to what extent she can be dishonest to American people to fulfill her power dreams...

More than anything we need a president with character and moral strength, leadership and wise judgment...

btw someone should tell her to stop dragging her young kid into political meetings/discussions...its ridiculous...whats next Chelsea would decide what next foreign policy of America would be ???

Allow me to be direct, Hillary lied. Could someone please tell me, how the hell can you mis-speak about an event that did not even come close to taking place? I find it amazing that there are people who are yet supporting her. And this is not the only lie she's been caught in. She said she was against NAFTA from the start, yet there were 5 town hall mettings in which she was the guest speaker and she was admonishing the people to embrace NAFTA. So because of these lies I'm challenged to question everything else she's claiming. From the ready on day one, to the 3 a.m. phone call, should be questioned. Let's face it, if she'll lie about a trip, and she did what other lies are waiting to be told?

I am sorry. To misspeak is to say that we arrived on March 1st but it turns out it was March 5th or there were 500 people there but it turns out there were only 200. Misspeaking does not happen 3 times. How can you mistake getting shot at, running for cover, and the reception being moved inside? Is this who we want to answer the phone at 3:00am. We may wake up in a war because she thought someone shot at us.

This was a little WHITE lie...

There is a difference and always has been.

I strongly believe that we have had enough of the Clintons... Hillary's greatest flaw is Bill, add embelishments on lies? Not Good. I can not say I trust Her. OBAMA I believe in and trust. He I would be proud to call My PRESIDENT of the USA. He is someone very special he is all of us, he can unite, communicate and will be a great leader. Our superdelegates need to step up for Senator OBAMA. We the people have spoken.

INNNNNNNCOMMMMMMMMMMMING!!! Hit tha deck! (whistle...BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!) Okay all jokes aside. From personal experience, being shot at is something you do not ever forget. There are just things you just know without even having to do much thinking. I find it hard to say you misspoke about something as recent as that trip. I can see if you are a Pearl Harbor or D-Day vet and the years have dimmed the memory or two. Even then, these guys can still recall the events like it happened a year ago. In these days of instant everything did she not think there were witnesses and video evidence that would verify or contradict her story? You can't tell me she is THAT bold. Uh uh. No, Mrs Clinton...YOU LIED and you told that lie not once, not twice, but three times on three separate occasions. That's not a case of misspeaking or sleep deprivation, that's a pattern.

Having worked in senior positions in HR before starting my own consulting firm 12 years ago, the matters of quantifying experience and negating "resume inflation" were tantamount. Exposure is not the same thing as experience no matter how one tries to parse it. That would be like me saying that after 14 years I could run his international IT department or he could run my international consulting firm.

Senator Clinton's got whatever experience she's gotten after only six or so years in elected office. Same with Senator Obama and his 14 years of elected experience.

What I'd love to hear more about are their respective plans for American and how they expect us to pay for those plans.

What an extraordinary tale of heroism. Hilary was flown into an extremely dangerous area which, according to the pilot colonel William Changose who flew her there, it wasn't even a humble bee on the radar screen which could hurt her. This is exactely the Commander In Chief the American nation needs so it's people can sleep securely in the full knowledge that when she answers that 3 am call, she has full recollection of the circumstances that let up to that call.
