Rock and roll pioneer Bo Diddley died today at the age of 79. Along with Chuck Berry and Little Richard, he helped build the rhythmic foundation of rock music, though without much acclaim.
We paid tribute to him on today's show.

Being from Chicago's West Side I remember a song Bo Diddley made, called "Hay Little Girl In The High School Sweater". It was rumored to be inspired by a teenage girl that went to the local high shool John Marshell. A lot's of teenage boys & men had a crush on this girl including myself!
