What Do Obama, McCain's Offices Say About Them?

Wondering how John McCain or Barack Obama would fare as leader of the free world? Their Senate offices may offer some indication. Here's more from the Associated Press via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

(The following hotlinks take you to photo galleries.) "McCain's office oozes comfy clutter and informality: random piles of books, a fortune-cookie message taped to the desk, an abundance of tchotchkes and bric-a-brac. Obama's office feels more like a gallery of modern art: precisely placed objects, sparsely adorned surfaces, clean lines, choreographed displays."

Play armchair psychologist for a minute: What tales do these dueling offices tell about their occupants?

I'm no psychologist (just took one semester course in college). But on a logical view and taste level, there's NO WAY I'll go for the decor on the right.

The furniture on the right ALL spell antique for McCain, but Obama's office shows he's got a modern edge with a touch of vintage. So Obama's office shows he's current while McCain's office looks like a period piece.

that neither of them have taste in antique furniture.

Put a dimple in that tie.

Oh, and if you're going to talk modern furniture, I prefer capt. picards ready room. Star trek nemesis style.

Why can't we design interiors like that in this day and age. Subtle brown, grey blending of light and deep colors.
