This Polaroid was added to our Flickr group by April Blankenship. She took it at the 35th annual Chief Lookingglass Powwow at the Nez Perce Reservation in Kamiah, Idaho.

"That photo is of a high school classmate of mine, over the weekend at the powwow in our hometown. He's Nez Perce and a dancer and arena director for the annual event. I work for the newspaper in town and I experiment with photography too.

This was taken with an SX-70 camera and some silver shade film from The Impossible Project. I've had so-so results with different packs of the film, and these weren't, quote-unquote, the best, but there's something about the film that excites me."

Have you tried experimenting with instant film?
