I think it goes without saying that if the choice is among Colin Powell, Rush Limbaugh and ScuttleButton, we know which way America will turn.
We also know who this week's ScuttleButton winner is.
And the way to become a ScuttleButton winner has not changed. Simply take one word or one concept per button, add 'em up, and arrive at a saying or a name. Submit your answer and hope you're the person chosen at random. NOTE: You MUST include your name and city/state to be eligible.
And remember, the answer does not necessarily have to be political. For instance, the answer to a puzzle a while back was "Minnesota Twins" — not political at all, unless you're thinking Mondale and Humphrey instead of Killebrew and Oliva.
Last week's buttons, in case you forgot:
Toddler wearing a T-shirt that reads "Vote for Mom" — Not sure what candidate this is for, but I've always believed this button to be from Florida.
Abolish the Racist Death Penalty/Free Mumia Abu-Jamal! — A journalist and Black Panther Party official, he was convicted and sentenced to death for the 1981 murder of a Philadelphia police officer.
So, when you add Mom + Mumia, you kind of get ...
Mamma Mia, the name of either an awful movie where you are forced to listen to Pierce Brosnan sing, or a bad Abba song (wait, are there good Abba songs?).
The winner, selected at random among the correct responders, is (drum roll) ... Jessie Martori of Flagstaff, Ariz.
