This Week's Trivia Question Winner: Sean Walbeck of Bellingham, Wash.

Yesterday's trivia question asked you to name the last time a child of someone who once served as governor and senator was elected to Congress.  (The question was inspired by the unsuccessful House bid in South Carolina of Paul Thurmond, Strom's son.)

As it turns out, there were two possible answers.  And Sean Walbeck of Bellingham, Wash., got both of them, which occurred in 2008:

Sen. Mark Pryor (D-Ark.), the son of former Sen./Gov. David Pryor; and

Rep. Dan Boren (D-Okla.), the son of former Sen./Gov. David Boren.

Both were re-elected in 2008.

Several people guessed Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R) of Alaska.  While it's true, her father Frank indeed served as senator and governor, Lisa Murkowski was last elected in 2004.  So she's not the most recent example.

Sean wins, um, nothing for his efforts.
