Back in June, I ran this contest:  Guess the exact Senate vote on the confirmation of Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court and you win a Geraldine Ferraro for Congress button from her first campaign in 1978.

I thought that with President Obama naming two women to the court, a Ferraro button — herself a trailblazer for women — made sense.

But ... but ... no one got the exact tally, which was 63-37.

Two people came the closest, however.  Rahul Sinha had it 64-36.  And September McCrady of Statesville, N.C., had it 62-38.

Close.  But not close enough.

More contests to come.
