More Oval Office Cartoonery

The New Yorker satirized Obama, and America couldn't decide if it was funny.

Then The Nation satirized The New Yorker's satirization of Obama.

Next The Seattle Post-Intelligencer imagined what it would look like if The National Review had satirized McCain the same way The New Yorker satirized Obama.

Now Vanity Fair has satirized McCain, again.

Surely someone's laughing by now?

Instead of all this waste of the taxpayers' money, let's kick it 'old school.'

Lets's have the loser (i.e. 2nd place) in this upcoming race become the Vice-President...THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE A CHOICE.

If they feel compelled to serve the American public in the nation's highest office, I would hope that they would do so IN ANY capacity.

As many people that I have talked to, we're back to the old "lesser of two evils," they'll cling to a party line rather than look to the greater good.

Whether it's a McCain/Obama or an Obama/McCain ticket, they country will be equally distraught and disturbed. Few of us will do anything more about it other than blog or hog a water cooler conversation.

This is our right as Americans, but IMHO, too many of us take this 'gift' for granted.

I've advocated that position for years!
1st place - President
Runner-up - Vice President
