you want a good burrito? come to albuquerque. "new mexican" food is a unique regional version of mexican cuisine, based around an indigenous chile pepper. try the frontier restaurant across street from main entrance to university of new mexico. another excellent local choice is barelas coffee house on 4th st. both are local institutions and people will be able to point you in right direction. this is actually chile roasting season. you can smell it in the air. boy, oh boy!

A former resident of Walsh, Colorado, I will always consider it "home" because of people like Dr. Bob and Dolly Morrow--true examples of the American spirit and goodness.

It was great getting to meet you guys. Anytime you want to feel at home, come back and visit. It is so wonderful letting other people know what a great place Walsh really is.

A good friend invited me to spend the Christmas holiday at his family's ranch near Walsh. Being a farmboy from rural Indiana, I felt pretty comfortable in rural SE Colorado. And the people were just as friendly as can be.

It's a part of Colorado that my fellow Denver residents probably can't imagine. But, it's a slice of life that's easy to devour wholeheartedly.

It's a different time and place and worth a visit.

We moved from Walsh, CO in March 2007 after 9 1/2 years of pastoring in the community. The people are warm and giving. Every person plays a part in the life and heart of a community. What a blessing that you gave them an opportunity to shine through your coverage.

It's great that you included Walsh, Co on your itinerary--citizens such as Bob Morrow who dedicate their time and efforts toward improving the community are very special individuals!
