Bloggers Converge On NPR HQ
The professional journalists in Studio 4A aren't the only ones tracking the news at NPR HQ as it rolls in from across the country. About 20 bloggers not affiliated with NPR met up just a few floors below Robert Siegel and gang.
Aldon Hynes of the Orient Lodge put together a list of bloggers who may -- or may not -- have been in the house. Some of the people on hand:
- Kevin Anderson at The Guardian declares this "the first election the Internet won"
- Vivian Paige called Virginia early
- Aldon Hynes at Prometheus 6 looks beyond the results to question how we vote
- The folks at Collazo Projects take a look inside NPR at closed captioning for radio
- Terrance Heath, Cheryl Taragin and Kaitlin Foley were among many live blogging the night
- And, of course, a the group has produced a lot of tweets on the night
