Mara Liasson on Hillary's West Virginia win

Hillary Clinton won the West Virginia Primary last night and she won it by a very big margin. NPR's Mara Liasson says, her approximate 2-to-1 win over Barack Obama was expected, but Clinton savored it all the same.

(Hillary Clinton): We know from the Bible that faith can move mountains and my friends the faith of the Mountain State has moved me.

Clinton said she was determined to keep campaigning until the end of the primary season on June 3rd, but her win in West Virginia won't make much of a dent in the delegate lead amassed by Barack Obama. Obama barely campaigned in West Virginia and he is already turning his attention to a possible general election campaign against the presumptive Republican nominee John McCain.

Here's the problem in all this, we are being held hostage as a nation to people who refer to Obama as a 'Darky'. If neither party bent over to please this minority America would be a better place. I for one would prefer that people with 'values' of questionable worth were not dictating to me or my daughter what our reproductive rights are--just to name one sore spot in all this. As a Californian, we support these rural States through our federal taxes. DO WE REALLY NEED TO BE RULED BY THEM?
When Hilary Clinton goes on her knees to win West Virginia, this is not going to help unite the country. The country has to unite and the majority needs to be heard for a change.
