Russian Muscle

I have a couple of point to comment on after listening to you program today about Russia.

- There's nothing bad about rejuvenating the patriotic feeling in citizens. I think it's long overdue in regards to Russia

- It seems like U.S. is getting territorial about the military power, and the power in general. Russia after the fall of the USSR had a lot of problems with the army, and to bring it back - is only a good thing, of course to a certain extent.

- And I cannot agree less with the statement that Russia today is not a democratic or free country. As a Russian national and a resident of US I can tell you that both countries are pretty much equal in their freedom. A lot of my friends are journalist in Russia (in different parts of it too), and I don't hear anything like that from them, except for the general annoyance with the government... but again, that can be true to any country.
