1:57 PM ET | 12-27-2007 | permalinkMike Gravel is a fool and we dont need to see this video to know it. It only took 1 minute of listening to his opinion on immigration. The fact that there is only 4 to 4.5 unemployment is a myth as alot of people stopped looking for work ; dropped off the stats as its been so long since they looked etc. We for one need a job since we just lost ours and SSDI only goes so far since its $750 or so a month. The type of work we have done for 20 years is contract delivery business the same kind of wokr now going to illegals as no one asks if they have the right to work here so please dont tell us we need illegals here as we dont!!! We need citizens and legal residents in jobs that pay well enough for a decent lifestyle; not a grand life but with health benefits; retirement; etc so they dont have to worry. Right now the rich are getting richer and all these politicans with lots of money to waste have no idea of the reality of the middle class or those who really are poor!!!
Oh, I get it. It's a "rock" video. Call it The "Gravel" Path; He makes a big splash but nothing else.
his explanation today on npr was very articulate and wise. as a general rule, you should listen and understand before you criticize another person...
