If I saw this, I'd be super judge-y about it.
Grody to the max!!! I was idly skimming a Reuters article about an online poll, re-posted on Wired, about digital etiquette, only paying half attention to the expected information —
Checking emails, sending text messages and making telephone calls while in the company of others are definite breaches of mobile manners.
Sure, next...
Texting during a date is also strictly forbidden.
Ok, what else ya got?
75 percent had no objections to anyone using laptops, netbooks and cell phones in the bathroom.
Wait... One more time?
75 percent had no objections to anyone using laptops, netbooks and cell phones in the bathroom. (emphasis entirely mine)
I'm so grossed out! Maybe I am completely, woefully out of touch with the demands of modern life, but laptops in the bathroom?! There doesn't seem to be a distinction made in the poll as to whether these are public restrooms or your bathroom at home, but still... Am I the only one who thinks it's gross when a colleague is on the phone in the stall next to me?
