The Berlin Wall: 20 Years Later
Two decades ago, the Berlin Wall began to come down, which symbolized the end of communism and the Cold War. Today's show begins with an oral history of the Berlin Wall, and personal accounts from eyewitnesses who were there on Nov. 9, 1989. In our second hour, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and guests will talk about the political ramifications of the fall of the Berlin Wall, and how its impact was felt beyond Europe, around the world.
