Tell Me More

Can I get some DAP?

Just one of the ways Sen. Barack Obama's campaign is changing the conversation: if you don't know what DAP is, just listen or check out the video below. (See, we are here for you.)

More reflections on the presumed Obama nomination, from a variety of voices. First, though, a conversation with Bob Johnson, the co-founder of BET and the current owner of the NBA Charlotte Bobcats. He is strongly advocating that Hillary Clinton join the Democratic ticket.

Also, we talk to L. Douglas Wilder, who made history as the first African American elected governor post-reconstruction. Wilder took the helm in Virginia in 1990 and served one term (under the state's constitution permits).

And, of course, the Barbershop guys.

Have a great weekend.

To respond to Ruben's Barbershop comment:
She drew a line of differentiation between herself and Barack Obama over whether or not we should negotiate with Hamas. How can you campaign for vice president if you're undermining the president?

I'd like to say this:

I'd personally like to have a vice president who tells the president when he's a damn fool. I think it'd be good for the office (since obviously nobody's been doing that for the past 8 years.)

Mrs. Martin

Your insight on the Obama's leaving Trinity United Church of Christ was so insightful and quite honestly brilliant!!!!!!!!!!
The way you related it to your own personal situation bought tears to my eyes and help me see the entire Wright situation differently.

I look forward to many more of your thoughts.

Thanks for the thoughtful interview with Douglas Wilder, a true pioneer who is now getting his due, and maybe being regarded differently in history with our focus on Obama.

The most hilarious thing I have ever heard on Fox News was that they called the dap a "terrorist fist jab"!! A TERRORIST FIST JAB!! Buckle your seat belts America- the level of absurdity in this election is going to be legend!!!
