In Stock?: New CDs From Iron Maiden, Ray LaMontagne, Esperanza Spalding

New CDs from Iron Maiden, Ray LaMontagne and Esperanza Spalding

Even at great record stores, you can't always find the albums you want. Sometimes the store has a particular specialty, sometimes the local audience doesn't support a genre, sometimes the price of an album doesn't justify the shelf space. Each Tuesday, we call five record stores around the country and ask if they have three brand new CDs in their store.

This week, we checked on The Final Frontier (on Universal), Iron Maiden's 15th studio album; God Willin' & The Creek Don't Rise (on RCA/RED) by Ray LaMontagne and the Pariah Dogs; and Chamber Music Society (on Heads Up International) by jazz bassist Esperanza Spalding, who has awesome hair.
