Brazilian military pilots have spotted "an airplane seat, a life jacket, metallic debris and signs of fuel" in the Atlantic Ocean about 410 miles north of the Brazilian island of Fernando de Noronha, the Associated Press reports.
It's possible the pieces are from Air France flight 447, which disappeared around 10:14 p.m. ET Sunday, four hours into a flight from Rio de Janeiro to Paris.
