Polls are snapshots, and it's best to watch for trends over time. With those caveats in mind, it's worth reporting that:
According to Gallup's latest daily tracking poll, 58% of those surveyed approve of the job President Barack Obama is doing, vs. 33% who disapprove.
At 58%, Obama is just under the previous "low" approval mark of his now five-month-old administration. He's twice touched 59%.
The 33% matches his "high" on the disapproval side of the question.
