The White House just announced that President Barack Obama's 12:30 p.m. ET news conference has been moved indoors, to the James S. Brady Briefing Room. So, no Rose Garden background for this one.

Reminder: We're planning to live-blog the event.

Update at 10 a.m. ET: NPR's Don Gonyea tells us there was concern about the heat — it's expected to be at least 80 degrees and quite humid by mid-day. That's why the news conference has been moved.

Update at 10:25 a.m. ET: As The Oval writes, moving indoors "will raise the temperature of some journalists" because there are only 49 seats in the briefing room.
