"It's not yet too late" and it is their "historic responsibility" to keep complaining about how the June 12 presidential election was conducted, Iranian presidential candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi tells his supporters today in a statement posted at his Facebook page, the Associated Press reports.

In his first comments since Iran's Guardian Council on Monday officially ratified the re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Mousavi also condemns the crackdowns on protesters in the days following the election, saying that "blood was spilled and the youth were beaten."

While the government says Ahmadinejad won in a landslide, Mousavi says the election was rigged in the incumbent's favor.
