You wouldn't have known he was a comedian when Minnesota senator-elect Al Franken came to the Capitol today with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.:
He's due to be sworn into office — and to become the potential filibuster-busting 60th vote for his party — tomorrow.
It only took about eight months for the winner of last November's Senate race in Minnesota to be determined. Franken edged out incumbent Republican Norm Coleman.
