She and former president Bill Clinton are "very excited and very happy" about the engagement of their daughter Chelsea, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton told NPR's Michele Kelemen today.
At the end of an otherwise quite serious interview about Afghanistan, Iran, Russia and other foreign policy issues, Michele congratulated the former first lady on 29-year-old Chelsea's impending marriage to longtime boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky.
Clinton, who's in Brussels for meetings with NATO allies, told Michele that she's "going to try to not get crazed as an official 'MOTB' — the mother of the bride":
