Mind the gap, Queen Elizabeth II.

Her Majesty, Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of Her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith, took the train to the English countryside Thursday, the same as a commoner.

Her commuter-train trip caused something of a stir, being that it's not everyday you see the queen on the 10:45 am to King's Lynn.

Of course, her trip wasn't exactly like the average person's. She was accompanied by aides and a security detail. When real commoners who had first-class tickets just like hers tried to share the compartment with her, members of her security team told them to sit elsewhere.

And, of course, her destination wasn't exactly a commoner's; it was her vast estate on 20,000 acres known as Sandringham.

Who knows where the queen will be spotted next, perhaps at the dry cleaners picking up her ermine cape?
