There's no real news to pass along about the Tiger Woods saga, but there are two "developments" sparking lots of buzz.
First, there's the Tiger-should-convert-to-Christianity comment yesterday from Fox News Channel's Brit Hume. Noting that Woods is said to be a Buddhist, which Brit described as not offering the "kind of forgiveness and redemption that is offered by the Christian faith," Hume said his message to Woods would be "Tiger, turn to the Christian faith and you can make a total recovery and be a great example to the world":
Vanity Fair weighs in.
Even the conservative Hot Air says that Hume's off the mark on this one.
And there there's today's posting by Vanity Fair of its next cover: A bare-chested Woods, as captured by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz.
More photos, the magazine says, will be in the issue — which hits newsstands in New York City and Los Angeles on Wednesday and across the nation next Tuesday.
There's an essay — Tiger in the Rough that goes with the photographs (which were taken before Tiger's world exploded in the early morning hours after Thanksgiving Day).
