According to the Daily News:
HARMONY TWP. -- Four people reported dead and several others are injured in an accident in which a tractor trailer and a shuttle van collided on Interstate 70 East, at the 62 mile marker, Thursday, Jan. 7.
The crash occurred just after 1 p.m. The eastbound lane has been shut down and traffic is backed up for about a mile to state Route 41.
It is unclear how many passengers were on the van. Troopers from the Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are at the scene, and they confirmed the four deaths. The shuttle van was serving the Creative Learning Workshop, a Leffel Lane center that provides vocational services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The fatalities rank among one of the worst in the area.
A winter storm is currently moving through the Midwest and may have played a role in the accident.
