"A man who has been pulled alive from the rubble of a marketplace in Port-au-Prince may have been trapped there since the devastating earthquake struck the Haitian capital 28 days ago," The Times of London writes.

CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta filed this report on the news. As he says, the emaciated man told doctors that someone had brought him water several times — news that might help explain how he survived but obviously leaves many questions unanswered. According to Gupta, doctors in Haiti believe the man's story:

Countless buildings pancaked into a heap of dust and rubble with the powerful earthquake that hit Haiti last month. But thousands of buildings are still standing — some of them structures that shouldn't be occupied.

The devastating quake struck Haiti four weeks ago today. The exact death toll may never be known, but estimates are that as many as 200,000 people perished.
