The celebrating in New Orleans continued Monday, as it will for weeks to come no doubt, as the Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints returned home to jubilant fans who greeted them at the airport.

Among the welcoming party was Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal who, by the way he tried to not offend Dallas Cowboys fans when he talked to reporters, only fueled suspicions that already exist that he wants to run for president.

Jindal said:

"Jimmy Johnson, the former Cowboys coach, before the Super Bowl, proclaimed the New Orleans Saints to be America's new team. I think there's a lot of truth to that. Look, we all love the Cowboys but I think America's got a new team."

The Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints answered their fans' prayers of many decades.

No, we don't all love the Cowboys. Some of us love any team that beats the Cowboys. I'm partial to the Giants, myself. And in the nation's capital, love is not the four letter word Redskins fans aim at the Cowboys.

Still, it's not about the Cowboys, Skins or Giants. It's all about "Who Dat" right now.

The Associated Press reports that the New Orleanians, real and in spirit, lined up to get as souvenirs copies of today's Times Picayune newspaper with it's big banner headline: "Amen."

Which makes you wonder what people will line up to get when newspapers no longer exist. But I digress.
