Think anybody's going to be flying into or out of an airport from Washington, D.C., up north toward New York City and Boston today?
Well, if the airport isn't closed altogether (as both are in the Washington metropolitan area), there's a much better than even chance that an airline's already canceled the flight anyway.
The second major mid-Atlantic blizzard of 2010 continues to cause major problems for the region.
OK, so maybe you'll head out for some fun. How about a snowball fight? Wikipedia's Jimmy Wales warns that some jurisdictions have laws against the throwing of snowballs. He's looking for help in listing localities with such laws.
So perhaps its safer just to get out and take some pictures. Lots and lots of folks have been doing just that, and sites like Flickr are filling up. For those who watched over the weekend as I chronicled the exciting build-up of snow in my backyard, here's a quick update:
