Factory Orders Were Up Again In February

There was a 0.6% increase in orders for manufactured goods in February vs. January, the Census Bureau just reported. Orders have now risen in 10 of the last 11 months, Census adds.

The biggest increase last month was in orders for machinery. They rose 5.1%.

Bloomberg News says the increase, along with gains in "inventories and backlogs" is "a sign that factories will keep leading the economic expansion."
