Updated at 6:39 PM ET —- Naomi Campbell is communicating through her spokesman who says she will cooperate with the police investigation into allegations that she assaulted her limo driver Tuesday.

The Associated Press reports:

NEW YORK (AP) - A spokesman for Naomi Campbell says the model will cooperate with police after her driver accused her of slapping and punching him while he was driving her around New York City.

Spokesman Jeff Raymond says there shouldn't be a rush to judgment in Campbell's case.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell, who has a history of physically assaulting people, was apparently at it again Tuesday.

Her driver has alleged that Campbell slapped and punched him as he drove her through Manhattan.

A law enforcement official says Naomi Campbell's limo driver says she slapped and punched him while he was driving her around New York City.

The official says the 39-year-old model became enraged with the driver and started to hit him from the back seat on Tuesday afternoon.

The official says the driver stopped the car in midtown Manhattan and called 911. He says Campbell jumped out of the car and ran away.

The New York City Police Department is looking for her. She shouldn't be too hard to find.

I've got a suggestion for a New York tabloid headline if the papers there haven't already beaten me to the punch: Beauty Is A Beast!
