Lord knows all of us in journalism make embarrassing mistakes. Just yesterday, I misspelled the name of the Segway transportation device as "Segue." And it was in a headline, for crying out loud.
But this one by the New York Times in which a caption erroneously identified two Latin American women who appear to be "little people" dressed as Christmas angels as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Chilean President Michele Bachelet is a keeper, which is why we share it.
The Washington Post's Howard Kurtz tweeted it.
This is one of those mistakes which has a lot of journalists saying today, "there but for the grace of God."
