As Reuters reports:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate will soon resolve a standoff that has disrupted jobless payments and highway construction, Republican Leader Mitch McConnell said
Tuesday.
"We're going to be able to work out the short-term extension in the very near future and we're in the process of working on that now," McConnell said at a news conference.
