Sure, snow is nothing new to folks in Denver.
But NPR's Jeff Brady reports that the wet, heavy stuff that's fallen on the city in recent hours is causing lots of problems — and lots of pain (in the back, that is):
About two feet of snow has fallen on some parts of Colorado in the past day or so. A couple more inches are due in Denver today, Jeff tells us.
"Roads and highways along the Front Range are a mixed bag this morning. Some are wet, others slushy and some are snowpacked, so commuters should take care. Multiple school districts in the area are shut down by the spring storm.
"At Denver International Airport, some flights have been canceled and others delayed. As many as 5,000 people spent the night at the terminal."
Denver's KUSA-TV is streaming live traffic cams here. It says that "light and moderate snow will continue through midday. The snow should end completely by early afternoon. Most metro neighborhoods will see an additional 1 to 3 inches of accumulation."
