US President Barack Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev eat burgers at Ray's Hell Burger.
Earlier today, Presidents Barack Obama and Dmitry Medvedev went to Arlington, Virginia, to grab lunch at Ray's Hell Burger.
"Obama ate a traditional cheeseburger, while Medvedev added jalapenos, mushrooms and onions to his," The Washington Post reports.
The pair shared an order of fries, according to the White House. No word on which superpower paid for the meal. (Update, 1:47 p.m.: It was Obama's treat.)
Both sat, scrunched in at the tiny table in shirtsleeves, while the packed-in patrons gawked.
As she waited for the two leaders to begin their news conference at the White House, NPR's Michele Kelemen overheard a priceless exchange between Obama and Medvedev:
OBAMA: The only thing about these burgers is you've got to watch out for your tie. If you like that tie, be careful.
MEDVEDEV: I have plenty of ties. Yesterday, I worked in jeans. That was good.
OBAMA: Everybody said you looked very good in them.
