A number of noisy and feisty goats joined hundreds of passengers for the journey down the Congo River.
The barge transports hundreds of passengers and mountains of freight and cargo, but it is also a mini Noah's Ark. There's also a wide selection of animals living cheek-by-jowl with humans.
The critters range from head-butting goats, called Jean-Philibert and Mambweni, to monkeys and even an eagle named Miffy. There was apparently a crocodile on board, but passengers never got to meet him.
