On Second Thought, The Dead Can't Speak

File this under "Unfortunate Headline of the Day":

"In blog, homicide victims have their say."

It's on our edition of The Washington Post's metro section this morning.

Thankfully, the online editors have changed the headline to this:

"Blogger aims to chronicle every D.C. homicide victim."

And the story, by the way, is pretty interesting. It's about Laura Norton Amico's Homicide Watch D.C. blog, which seeks to "mark every death. Remember every victim. Follow every case."

Check it out.

But we don't think you'll hear any voices.
