Gadhafi Son: We'll Live And Die In Libya

CNNTurk got a news crew into Tripol to interview Seif al-Islam Gadhafi, son of Moammar Gadhafi. They asked if his family plans to leave Libya and flee the violence. Seif Gadhafi's short answer: no.

"Plan A is to live and die in Libya. Plan B is to live and die in Libya. Plan C is to live and die in Libya." He pointed to a map for emphasis.

NPR's Lourdes Garcia Navarro is in Benghazi, in eastern Libya. She visited a city hospital and tells Morning Edition at least 100 people died there and far more were hurt in anti-Gadhafi clashes. Benghazi is quiet now and under rebel control; local leaders are trying to restore basic services such as trash collection.
