Fresh from wedding of his son William, to Kate Middleton, Britain's Prince of Wales will visit Washington, D.C. for a three day visit. He'll deliver the key address at a conference on sustainable agriculture at Georgetown University, according to the Washington Post.

Prince Charles will also meet President Obama at the White House, says CNN. The visit comes just ahead of Mr. Obama's own trip to Britain, set for late this month, according to the Guardian. Of interest to British taxpayers: the Guardian says the trans-Atlantic flight won't cost them that much because Charles is flying in a private jet belonging to his friend, American financier Joe Allbritton. The story says it may be the first time Charles has taken an official trip in a plane that was privately paid for.
