Obama To Hold News Conference Friday

President Obama will hold a news conference at the White House on Friday at 11 a.m. ET, his communications office says.

The main topic, for sure: the deficit-reduction talks. This will be the president's second such session this week. He took questions, also mostly about those talks, on Monday.

We're planning to live-blog during the news conference. Watch for analysis over at It's All Politics and more coverage both on NPR member stations and at NPR.org.
