Join Us For Tonight's Republican Presidential Debate

Debates played a crucial role in Newt Gingrich's decisive win Saturday in South Carolina's Republican presidential primary, so political junkies are watching closely to see what happens in the two debates this week in Florida.

Republicans there go to the polls on Jan. 31 — one week from Tuesday — to choose between Gingrich, Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas), former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.

The first Florida debate is tonight in Tampa Bay. Once again, we're helping our friends on the NPR Elections Desk by live blogging. Head over to It's All Politics for our coverage if you want to see what's going on (it starts at 9 p.m. ET). We're planning to do the same thing Thursday, during the second Florida debate.

One more promotional plug: We'll be live blogging President Obama's State of the Union address tomorrow evening as well — right here on The Two-Way.
