Behind The Stories

NPR In The News: Hurry Up and Spill It Already Edition

The popular crew of NPR's news quiz show Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me! is always busy. But the past two weeks have been particularly eventful. We offer this selection of clips to keep you informed about what they've been up to. Pay attention because a quiz will most definitely follow.

- We think you can never have too much of a good thing and The New York Times must agree. Last Sunday, a new Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me! quiz debuted in the paper's redesigned Week in Review section. Look for it regularly.

- Could Bill Clinton be a Brony? What the heck is that, you say? Well, The Huffington Post thinks the former president might be one due to his extensive knowledge of "My Little Pony" which he demonstrated during a recent "Not My Job" segment. Salon, Politico and Time were also pretty amazed (shocked?) at his apparent expertise on the subject.

- The show also hit the road for a live taping in Nashville, TN, and host Peter Sagal spoke with The Tennessean about the visit.

- If NPR had a grandfather apparently it would be Carl Kasell — at least according to Radio Colorado College. Check out a video of their interview with the legendary newscaster below.
