Behind The Stories

NPR In The News: TV Edition

Last night, television appearances by two public media reporters spotlighted two strong areas of our coverage: international news and local issues of national importance.

On CNN, NPR Middle East correspondent Deborah Amos joined Christiane Amanpour to offer insight on Syria gained during the time she spent reporting from the area.

Also, the NPR reporting network StateImpact received well-deserved attention as reporter Terrence Henry went on The Rachel Maddow Show to talk about his work on fracking and fracking waste in Texas.
