Behind The Stories

NPR In The News: Page Turner Edition

The NPR Books annual readers vote has become an audience favorite and the results always spur lively discussion. This year's list is a true testament to childhood memories and also to the fact that Young Adult books have appeal beyond the genre classification. More than 75,000 people voted, choosing their picks for the best-ever Young Adult novels – making it the most popular list yet.

Once all the results were in and tallied, man, did it get people talking. Several media outlets reported on the outcome, and you can get different takes on the final list from Entertainment Weekly, The Hollywood Reporter, the LA Times Jacket Copy blog, Atlantic and The Wrap.
